Sally discusses homesickness and cures

Topic: What are some of the things that you do to cheer yourself up when you're feel a bit low?

Everyone has their own " low times ". We always do something to get ouot of that. For me, it depends on the different situation.

Firsty, if I feel stressed in study, I'll give myself a little holiday. I'll just stay at home, cook a delicious meal for myself, watch movie on the sofa or even on the bed. I won't talk to anybody, just to be relaxed and quite. During the day, there is no text book and work book. Just do what I what to do.

Secondly, if I have some problems about my friends, I'll talk to my mom. She will confort me and give me a lot of advice. She will also teach me how to handle those problems.

Finally, there is sort of a new " low time " coming to my life. It's homesick and feel lonely. When I feel homesick and lonely, I'll hang our with my best friends. We'll go shopping, go to cinem! a to watch a comedy. By the way, I'm a big fan of movies. It means movies will make me feel comfortable and relaxed. Also, telling my best friends about my thoughts is a good way to get ride of these unhappy things.

Anyway, when you feel low, you can talk to your parents, your friends, even your teacher. Sharing with someone can decrease our upset feeling. Or you can just stay at home and do what you want to do. In a word, anytime, remember remind yourself that everthing will be ok!

  5. I agree.
When something disturbing happens to me, I prefer telling my parents. They know me the best that they won't give me advice which don't work on me or upset me. Besides, talking to mom is always comforting.
