Sally cites her Mum as a prime example of determination as an aspect of exceptionality

When I was young, I thougt people who will play with me were exceptional, because they made me happy. But now, my mind has absolutely changed a lot.

In fact, there are many things that will make a person exceptional in my mind. But the most important is determination. People who have determination always impress me. For example, my mom was a nurse when I was in primary school. But she didn't like it. She give up the job and go to America. She studied management at Cornell University. Now she is an angent for students studying abroad. When I grew up, she told me that's because nurse is not her dream job. She thought that was not her whole life. She wanted to change it. She thought she not only just want to be a nurse. By the way, she was the best nurse when she left the hospital. To be honest, when she told me how she noved on, I was so surprised about that. No matter how hard, she still kept going on. After I heard about her story, I'm trying to keep my goal, and try not to care about difficulties and beat it. So as you can see, people who have determination really affect me a lot.

Determination is so important to me. Sometime when I lose confidence, I often tell myself to be strong, to be determined and to finish things perfectly.
