Gu talks about Newton, Einstein and mathematical equations

An exceptional person usually has some special abilities such as astounding mathematical skills, unbelievably rententive memory, incredible forseeing abilities or some other specific unusual ones. The reason why they are regarded as exceptional is that their ablities are far greater than an average level. Indeed, they add colour to the dull routine of everyday life. However, are they irreplaceable or necessary for us?

As we know, those geniuses eventually are not able to become scientists although they have super abilities. In fact, their abilities can be replaced by modern technology. We may point out that it is just because they lack of creativity therefore they can be replaced. Compared to those special abilities, creativity plays a more important role in human society. For instance, Albert Einstein invented ‘Relative Theory’ although he couldn’t calculate or memorise at high speed. To some extent, scientists like Einstein are much more smarter than those geniuses. They think about science by different ways and achieve outstanding goals.

Newton, who discovered gravity, said he achieved his goals because he stood on the shoulder of a giant. In my opinion, a real exceptional person should have some character like him, observing and thinking about the future of the world by a creative way.

  1. That's right Gu. I agree with the point that says scintists are more creative than geniuses. When we think about it we will find that scintists help the humanity while geniuses are helping certain sides.

Thanks Gu. That was interesting ;-).

  2. agreeing with you fully!
i think scientist are exceptional and geniuses are gifted and are not exceptional until they actually do something to help humanity

  3. Rashid, I like and agree with this idea of yours that in order to be considered exceptional there needs to be a link to helping mankind.
