Abdul focuses on the connection between winning and losing

Personally, I don’t like to lose anything either in important or not serious situations and I think everyone does. But, to be honest, it actually changes me better while winning changes me to the opposite side. What I’m trying to say is that I would like to lose when nothing is happening right now, but after losing my response wouldn’t be good at all. Then I’ll get a beneficial result that corrects my mistakes.

Basically, it’s about human nature. We don’t accept losing for different reasons that changes from person to another and those reasons might be “ people will say …”, “ I’ll look stupid and …”, “ I want to win that competition to gain that accolade …”, … etc. but when we look deeper, winning a race, for example, will not give you the chance to work harder the next time. But if you took a place, which is not at the top, you’ll definitely be upset and you’ll try harder to improve your performance.

Another view, which is not related to competitions or races, is losing or winning a new occupation or a place at a university. The same benefit you’ll get when you lose in these positions. Because you’ll stat thinking that you are not good enough and you need to achieve more to reach a higher level.

If there is no loser, there will be no winner “ other wise words I follow.

  3. I think you are right, winning or succeeding can make us too self-satisfied and can stop us from trying harder and reaching higher goals.
